Since 2008 collectors have bought the past at the annual Wausau “Park” Show & Sale! The show is held at the historic Marathon Park in the East Gate Hall: 1201 Stewart Ave, Wausau. Upon entering the show you will be reminded of the old-fashioned small shops with items and gifts from yesteryear with a hint of Holiday flair! Spend the day finding your treasure, or maybe a priceless memory!
This year’s show offers history & charm for all colectors & decorators who will find treasures from 1880 to the mid century. Featuring select dealers with a variety of wonderful furniture, rare primitives, art originals, Native American articles, jewelery, pottery, sports, cast iron, elegant glass, early paper, clocks, stoneware, advertising & Holiday items, flatware, toys, trunks, textiles, Shabby Chic and more! This will be a wonderful opportunity to shop for your own collection or for the Holidays. You may meet old & new acquaintances to discuss the fun of “look what I found”!
A lucky person will win a $50 gift certificate, so be sure to sign up! There is free parking and the Humane Society of Marathon County will sell delicious sandwiches and chile to benefit their many good works for the shelter and are accepting donations of new or used pet toys or items at the show!. The admission is $5.00 and is good for both days, with under 16 being free. Come, search, discover & have fun, you will not be disappointed. We hope to see you there!
Time:
Saturday 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 10am to 3pm.
Directions:
From the North, South, and East, take exit 192 off of highway 39/51 and go half a mile East to the Park and you are there! Or, if from the West, take Hwy 29 East to Hwy 52 (Stewart Ave) to the Park Gates. (Wausau is 90 miles West of Green Bay)
