Meet Knox!

All around me are dogs who are at different stages of acclimating to shelter life; some are brave and make it look easy and some are just trying to right the world that has been turned upside down. Here's the thing, I'm having a hard time. The people I used to love, the dog I used to be, the life I used to know; all of that's gone and I've had to start over new. I tell you this so that you know to take things slow and give me grace when we meet; I've never had to do this before. I'm a loyal and independent girl who would prefer to be the only pet in a quiet household. I need only a few things but very consistently; food/water, love and exercise. Maybe you too have been through a difficult time and felt misunderstood? I'm hoping you're the person who can give me everything that I need and that I may return the favor, too.
