The magic of Hocus

July 31, 2020

Hello everyone!

I recently adopted Hocus on Thursday July 23rd and I wanted to give you all an update! He is doing wonderful in our apartment with us and we are now able to pet him without him running away or being super scared. He loves his but rubbed just above his tail lol. He is eating and staying hydrated as well and is not showing any signs of distress. He absolutely loves being perched in the window and looking outside too.

My other cat, Booper, has adjusted well to the additional family member. There was some conflict at first but they resolved it and seem to like each other now.  I have some photos of Hocus attached. He still doesn’t allow us to pick him up, but I’m sure it will happen eventually.

Once I am able to hold him, I will send another message so you can update your pages with an “adoption photo”.  Thank you all so much for allowing me to welcome Hocus into my life and for saving him from the life he might have had.
